D2D: Sheffield Doc/Fest’s New Transmedia Train-er for Doc Makers

The D2D acronym stands, in this instance, for Devise To Deliver.A title that clearly indicates the purpose of Sheffield Doc/Fest’s new transmedia training program, with a series of workshops designed to teach documentary filmmakers how to think creatively about utilizing muliple platforms to create, distribute, market, develop audiences and sustain interest in their projects.
The D2D program kicks off in January and runs through June, 2012, at various venues throughout the UK.
